    When will the penny drop!

VK From hero to zero in under 2 seasons and not a word from Pace!
Maybe there is some secret plan?
As far as I can see, any credibility and respect that ALK has generated with the fan is disappearing daily.
I didn't like Dycheball; but always had the feeling he wouldn't "fit in" with ALK-Dyche isn't woke and never was politically correct either.
His departure was always on the cards.

ALK have presided over a wild uncontrolled spending spree, which has recruited a variety of inexperienced, too small and clearly simply not good enough players.
Trafford -couldn't understand that one when we were supposed to have had Antwerp's goalie minutes from boarding the plane to the UK for a medical, fee agreed-last minute was told its off-Trafford has signed-IT STINKS.
    Tactics/Team selection simply baffling.
A cple of interesting media comments-Jamie Hoyland-worried as all the other relegation candidates have more aggression ,fight and spine within the team.
Martin O Neil Talk Sport-Vinny needs to start listening to his coaches, Burnley are trying to play at a level only a few elite teams can reach-no smoke without fire-that says it all.
Like everyone else feel like the last 12 months of effort has been trashed!!!!!!

Bang on DTP66.Can you imagine if SD was given £100m to spend in the January window of 2022.I did not like Dycheball either but he would have kept us in the PL with backing.

I watched the extraordinarily brilliant Chelsea v City game yesterday tea-time, there is simply no way on God's earth we can compete with teams with that sort of physicality and technique.

Dyche understands that VK seems to believe he knows better. I'm at a loss I really am.

That game yesterday has nothing to do with us, of course we can't compete with that, Let's see if we can compete in the next six games, that will tell us where we are. And if we can't, we'll go down along with two other teams. And it won't be the end of the world if we do go down, it happens to three teams every year, c'est la vie.

IMO the club have bought heavily this summer to set us up for a few years. No expectation to stay up. As Pace said, we are ahead of schedule.

If Pace and Kompany are happy with what is happening they should at least be brave enough to tell the fans. I personally am disgusted with what I am seeing and ashamed to be a Burnley supporter. A 12 year old would do a better job of managing this team

I think you have short memory Turf,
After the Man City game Kompany stated dont worry every match we will get better.
When promotion had been achieved he then stated that he saw nothing to fear from many teams in the Premier League.
Next it was the bar is now much higher!
I am not expecting to see us play at the elite level, but expect to see players who have (at least the basics)
His pursuit of Matssen was naive as from day one he wasn't coming.
Poor recruitment -simple as that-team is too small.
As Stan used to say you need a cple of "Dogs of War" (aka Kevin Ball-Joey Barton)
Pace says nothing-the Premier adventure is being squandered!!
Brentford-Nottingham Forest worked it out-why cant we?

Yesterday's game showed how hard the bar is set sinkov. The next six games are set in stone, we will be lucky to end up with three points.

We are going down, nowt much else to say except I hope we do so with a bit of honour.

If I have a short memory, then you have a very short outlook. The world will not end if we go down this year.
Why is everything imploding because it's not going right first time? It's not, chill out.
As difficult as it is now, id rather see us go on this journey than tread water under garlick/dyche.

He did say that, possibly he was being a bit naive, at that point he was anticipating the defence solidifying around Beyer and Foster coming on in leaps and bounds up front, but for different reasons neither happened. He couldn't have seen that coming but it's football, sh1t happens, he should have been a bit more circumspect. I can forgive him though, it's part of the job to be optimistic, he has to be positive facing the media, what was he supposed to say, 'We can't compete at this level, we're fecked, we're going down' ? Even if he thinks it, he can't say it.
