Wouldn't it be ironic though if, having signed a bunch of players with known health issues we then employ a manager with known health issues.
    How very Rotherham United 😉
Who knows he might have been one of Swiss tony”s favourite players when playing at pigs..!.

    A manager not a coach.
The type that holds the room when he talks, someone who has experience at the very top but also scraped in the lower leagues along with fighting relegation,
someone who actively gets involved with all aspects of the club and can develop a change In culture and practice.
Definitely needs proven experience of coaching and developing young players and the ability to turn non league rough diamonds into premier league stars. Someone who will be given time and we can trust that 3 years down the line the club will be in a better place.

    All sounds a bit Warnock
But nah I would go for
    Pearson this time
I think we've just proven that the '3 years down the line' vision is out of the window.

Yeah I imagine your right. It is what's needed though. Kind of hope someone with a proven record at this level wouldn't get the 'out of his depth' calls MT had and could maybe see it through.

I think Wilder would fit your description. Didn't do well at Boro, and didn't last long at Watford (but who does?) but did well everywhere else previous to that, at this level and above and below that as well.

I'm just not convinced he'd actually come.

I've come to the conclusion that the best selection criteria to use is to pick a manager whose name best fits the ".......red and white army" chant. I think ideally we need a 2 syllable first name and a 2 syllable last name so these fit the bill

    Gareth Ainsworth's
    Nigel Pearson's
    Gary Rowett's
    Danny Cowley's

although there are some exceptions that fit like

    Neil Warnock's
    Nigel Clough's
    Mick McCarthy's

but I'd rule out Steve Evans, Paul Warne, Chris Wilder because they are just too awkward to fit in

We're like kids at Christmas looking at a giant Lego castle in the shop window, whilst Mum and Dad have sneaked in to buy a box of stickle bricks.

I gave you all a prompt earlier on with the betting @ 40/1…… Tony’s going for a drop down to league 1 unless this man can pull off a miracle.

Ex Miller, great servant, get it backed now David Artell……

As I'm currently lining up a pop quiz, that suggestion brings to mind a variation on a Billy Connolly song:-

    D.I.S.A.S.T.E.R
