    Surely some have applied

Xisco Munoz might still live in the area until his rental property expires
Not even my favourite, FC Honka manager Vesa Vasara.

FC Honka are in financial difficulties and have announced they won't play in the 2024 season so he's looking for a job too.

    From 2019:

SHORTEST LENGTH OF PASSES BY CLUB

    1. Paris Saint-Germain (FRA) - 15.85m

    2. Barcelona (ESP) - 16.31m

    3. FC Honka (FIN) - 16.65m

    3. Chelsea (ENG) - 16.65m

    5. Ajax (NED) - 16.95m

    6. Borussia Dortmund (GER) - 17.16m

    7. Manchester City (ENG) - 17.24m

    8. Real Betis (ESP) - 17.40m

    9. Real Madrid (ESP) - 17.41m

    10. Napoli (ITA) - 17.53m

I've heard that Harold Dite has applied for the job. That would also fit in with Cam's 'red and white army chant' criteria!

    Good one

    There’s also this one…

Union Berlin have announced the "painful" departure of manager Urs Fischer following a joint decision.
Union are in their fifth successive Bundesliga season since Swiss Fischer, 57, achieved their first promotion to Germany's top tier in his debut season.
The fan-owned club qualified for Europe in each of the past three seasons and this year are competing in the Champions League for the first time.
However, Union are bottom of the Bundesliga after 11 games this season.

What are the wages like in the Bundesliga?

TBH I just want someone who will play passing football not hoofball, which doesn't work in the Championship anymore anyway.

If you have a smidgen of a belief that we could get this guy then you need to give your head a wobble. Not a chance.

That's why I suggested someone from Finnish football rather than the Bundesliga

So a shortlist is still being finalised before interviews take place and the new man is not expected to be in place until after the Leeds game.
This after we were originally told the club expected to make a quick appointment following the departure of MT.
    Not very encouraging.

Wasn't it the advertiser that said "rufc are to act swiftly to appointment a replacement, I don't recall the club saying this

Well fans wanted Taylor gone he’s gone and the communication from the club is we don’t have anyone lined up.
Same fans now moaning we don’t have a manager.
    Yep it’s hilarious

Oh come on Cayton, surely you've realised by now that Paul Davis only ever writes what he's "encouraged" to do. There's nothing contentious or controversial......ever.
I wonder if Target A has said "thanks but no thanks?"
By the way, TS's words are pretty much the same as he said before appointing MT "flattered by the calibre of applicants", "sometimes the best deals take longer to complete"', "taking our time" and blah, blah, blah.
Let's hope his "best deal" works out this time 🤔
