There could be many reasons why there's a delay.For all we know terms etc could have been agreed with someone but they've got holidays/commitments and can't start for another week or two.I wouldn't read a jot into these 'generic',box standard press quotes.

It could be anything or more likely Rowett,Wilder,Eustace and Warnock aren't picking up their phones! Mark Bonner turned us down and is still plodding on at Cambridge in League 1 a year ago when we were 8th in the Championship.
