The IDF (naturally) the EU, the UK and the good old US just stand back and watch land grabbing and murder of people on an industrial scaler because "God says so!" FFS!

The ingredients for a disaster in the West Bank are all there as you say BT and what Hamas did on October 7th has undoubtedly turned up the heat.

Some call it the West Bank but some Jews call it Judea and Samaria is the heartland of Israel. From ancient Israelite kingdoms to today's State of Israel, for more than 3,000 years this land has been a major hub of Jewish activities. Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria is not only home to nearly a million Jewish Israelis. It is also known as the Biblical Heartland. More than 80% of the Bible was written or occurred here. Archeologists have uncovered more than 300 wine and olive oil presses in this region.

If people keep calling it the West Bank ??? It is 'Judea and Samaria.'

The name West Bank is a translation of the Arabic term aḍ-Ḍiffah al-Ġarbiyyah, which designates the territory situated on the western side of the Jordan River that was occupied in 1948 and annexed in 1950 by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

......are stealing the West Bank from the indigenous Arab population.

As a result of the Jewish revolt that broke out in 66 CE, the city of Jerusalem was destroyed (70). The name Judaea is still used to describe approximately the same area in modern Israel.

Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria is not only home to nearly a million Jewish Israelis. It is also known as the Biblical Heartland.

Judea and Samaria are regions of Israel that are deeply connected to the Jewish people historically and religiously. Most of the events of the Bible were written and took place in these areas.

Hebron—Burial place of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their wives. Later on, David set up his kingdom here.
Shiloh—Resting place of the Tabernacle for 369 years. Three times a year, all of Israel gathered here.
Shechem—Burial place of Joseph on a plot of land bought by Jacob.
    Bethel—Traditional site of Jacob's dream.
Elon Moreh—Site of God’s promise of the land to Abraham. ( so the Bible says! )

    Balan - I
Read this week that the natural gas in your country could have something to do with the international interest- I’d hope it’s for the people’s well being but now I’ve read it , things become clearer shall we say.

So is there mileage in my reading between the lines. ?

Balan, I know Arafat turned down the Camp David two state solution, but how many other times have the Palestinians rejected offers of a two state solution ? I could google it all, but I'm sure you'll know better than me.

Oh dear!! .......are stealing the West Bank from the indigenous Arab population?

Arabs continuously protest that the land of Israel was “stolen from them”. Despite the mass territory that they currently occupy (such as Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt), they still covet the tiny land of Israel. They do so even as Israel comprises only 0.1% of the Middle East’s land mass and is surrounded by 22 Arab/Muslim nations.

In July of 1922, the League of Nations recognized “the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine,” and thus entrusted Great Britain with the Mandate for Palestine. To take a step further back, the land still would not be Arab territory, as the British seized it from Turkey, –who also do not want the land back–during the Great War in 1917. The village ,a kibbutz, where I live was swamp land the Israelis, the Kibbutzniks, drained it.

The Arabs took Palestine by military conquest, and also lost it by conquest, to the Christian Crusaders in 1099. The Arabs have no grounds to complain about the expansion of Israeli territory to the West Bank in 1967, which was an act of self defence, as it was Jordan who attacked Israel, despite Israel's desperate pleas to avoid this conflict.

Arabs are native to Arabia, not Palestine!
