I saw the penalty they were given. After watching the VAR replays the correct decision was obvious - a yellow card to the NM player for simulation.

Odd post. Media big up to knock down and have done for decades. At best England fans are split on whether Southgate is the best man for the job. The players are premier league pretty boys in a bubble and I think I can speak for a LOT of people when I say that I pretty much stopped caring about the national teams results in games like these a long long time ago. Southgate isn't the man for the job. People say he got us to within a penalty shootout of the Euros, he was the reason we didn't win it. It was crying out for a sub 10 mins before they equalised and then he made stupid subs just before the shoot out and not at the start of extra time to give the takers time to get into the game.
He's holding the team back

I lost interest in watching England ages ago. I didn't even realise they were playing tonight until I turned the TV on and the 2nd half was just starting with them losing 1-0. Thought I'd watch it, now I know why I lost interest in watching England games
