The picture before my post ,it's simple, that's the rubbish from Gaza being burnt on a Wednesday, it clears up late Thursday, in time for prayers in the Mosque's on Friday. That whole area is sand, from which we get ''not to build your house or castle on sand, as the IDF like a strong storm or hurricane, may come and blow it over''?

Are you seriously telling me Hamas just woke up and decided to do what they did for no reason on October 7th?

Not what I said BT. Terrorists don't need a 'trigger' for their atrocities, they just carry them out anyway,
Which is what the IRA did and still continue to do, what Hamas has done for years and will continue to do so, what the Bader Meinhoff group used to do for years and what every other terrorist group will do ---they do not need a 'trigger' they just seek to do harm.

Only they know why they carry out atrocities. They obviously do not wish to live in a peaceful world and do not enjoy saying those who do wish to live in a peaceful world.
If God planned it this way, I am very happy that I am not a religious person because I do not wish to conform to God planninng terrorism.

I was watching today a SKY interview with the Scottish mother of the SNP's leader's wife. According to the lass from Dundee the IDF's actions were "intolerable", "immoral," "shocking" and "unbelievable" were amongst the best of her comments following her time trapped on the besieged enclave.

The repercussions will reverberate throughout Europe and beyond. Tin hat time mein freund.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart Bibi.

'' the best of her comments following her time trapped on the besieged enclave.''

''Are there no border crossing on the west side of Gaza into Egypt ?

''The Rafah Border Crossing (Arabic: معبر رفح, romanized: Ma`bar Rafaḥ) or Rafah Crossing Point is the sole crossing point between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. It is located on the Gaza–Egypt border.

''Good grief have these Israelis destroyed that border crossing too !

Supersub. I am a Christian now (my choice) and I am happy with that. I have been in the past atheist/agnostic so I don’t have any problem whatsoever with people who are not religious. In fact I can quite see their point of view. After all I once shared it. Large as my family is there are very few professing Christians in it. That is perhaps a reflection of the times we live in. So it goes, as one of my favourite authors Kurt Vonnegut wrote.

I was brought up a Christian and live my life following what I learnt over many years, therefore, probably in a Christian manner. However, I no longer practise any religion, nor am I atheist or agnostic, I just do not like to see the ordinary people who practise whatever religion being tarred with the same brush as the absolute fanatics who are responsible for so much evil in the world, therefore, I disassociate my self from all religion and political parties and just get on with life and help anyone who seeks my help in anything.

I thought this comment seemed close to the mark, 'All this is because the Mad Mullah's Sky Fairy doesn't like Jews.'

    Sounds about right to me.

One bit of breaking news this morning that has taken me completely by surprise:

    Netanyahu will negotiate with "terrorists".

Hamas somehow managed to take more than fifty women and kids hostage.

Netanyahu will swop 50 Jewish women and kids for 150 Palestinian women and kids who are currently locked up in Israeli jails, I presume incarcerated without trial.

My biggest question is how on earth are Hamas keeping the hostages safe when the IDF are reducing Gaza to piles of rubble?
