The delay in recruiting and the potential impact is not good, others outside the club are questioning the delay, it was questioned on Sky on Friday night (see below)

the only logical reason for a delay is the hope we can get a cheap option with WC, all other reasons are an excuse. I have been busy, I was away, We have had extra high quality applicants - they are all excuses, the delay is deliberate. WC will not be the correct choice for Rotherham United, as much as I want us to win every game a defeat tonight might have its merits if it puts to bed any possibility of WC getting the job. Big fan of TS but this makes no sense to me or to others outside the club. You can come on here and justify the delay and re-quote the excuses, but they are just that excuses
