From what I’ve read we did have a replacement lined up but we were then turned down
Not Neil, someone else.
The clubs on that list are a lot less risk than us and all except swfc could realistically survive the drop so it’s a lot easier to attract the right candidate

Do we publish the salary in the job posting?

With the recent layoffs in the tech industry I have lots of high calibre applicants/candidates for jobs who, despite the fact the salary range is in the job description, show up for interview and then turn down the job when offered because it doesn't pay enough! Did they think I was just going to change the salary simply because they came from Microsoft/Amazon/Google?

Mellow, Do you think TS might have had what he thought was his man but it backfired on him?

It's not just TS that goes out and approaches someone. Surely there are others involved who he listens to before making decisions. He proclaimed himself he is still not after all this time, up with what is the footballing side of the business, he just balances the books and keeps RUFC solvent. He leaves the footballing aspect of it to others so, does that also mean the recruitment of a new Manager?
