So pleased for Amoudini in particular. If ever some one deserved a goal he did.

It was first game on the MOTD that I watched.

Chas asks when was the last time that happened, not sure but possibly we were first game on in August 2017, when we won the opening game of the season at Stamford Bridge.

A fair enough point Will, but imo the bottom 5/6 in the PL are always Championship level and all we have to do is finish above three of them.

It must be my imagination playing tricks on me again I'm sure I saw the Luton game come on first.

I think we might have a real gem on our hands with this lad, three times in the first few seconds he came out of tackles with the ball, later in the game he tried to put Vitinho through, the ball rebounded to him and he set Koleosho up instead. I've seen him do it before, he has this knack of riding tackles and still retaining the ball, the one player who had this abilty in spades was George Best, it was nearly impossible to win the ball off George in a tackle, he inevitably came out of any tackle with the ball at his feet.

Of course I'm not saying Amdounini is another George Best, he clearly isn't, but that knack of riding tackles and coming out with the ball reminds of Best, and it's a useful knack to have.

I'm in "Rave Mode" about this lad and his partner in crime Koleosho. Bearing in mind they are both only just out of short pants their progress is a joy to watch.

It is starting to dawn on me that VK might just know what he is doing.

reminds me of Glen Little, he looked so ungainly but the ball seemed to stay glued to his boot.
