Sadly the only way now is to rebuild and have a few seasons in league one and bottom out and get some proper foundations laid and manager and style and identity to be able to compete in championship,a bit like what Ipswich have done..
If that's the case and there's a good argument to support it, we need to offload our best assets in January.

Example: What's Viktor's value in January vs next summer, if we go down?

But that was done during a championship season.i was saying league one and build a more promising project for these type of managers what are turning us down now…I know Swiss is impatient but these decisions are very costly ones in all sorts of ways so surely that will resonate with him I am sure..

    Re: Next manager.

Looking at the current landscape and assuming we can cobble together a decent budget for next season I'd go and try and get Cowley. If he hasn't turned us down already.

    Classic!

Warburton's chances are rising with the bookies but we'll need proof he's not overdone!

    We need someone more upbeat.

    Heard he's a right sourdough.

Until the end of the season perhaps to see if he could do a Warnock for us.
If he fails then appoint a longer term candidate with the remit to rebuild

Not heard the ex QPR and Glasgow Rangers Manager Michael Beale mentioned so far

Sheff Utd made sure their preferred replacement manager had signed the contract and couldn’t change his mind before they gave heckingbottom the bullet
