I love Wout Weghorst and have done since he first got mentioned as a possible signing. If we lose money on him it is what we deserve. Stupid fans has treated him badly and VK made a huge mistake betting on JRod over Wout. It's all on the club and nothing to do with Wout.

Totally agree Will. He had to leave in order to win a place in the Dutch World Cup Squad, therefore, he had ambition.
He did well in Turkey and he also contributed to Man United's season.
Our fans don't want him so all the best to him at Hoffenheim where he has done well and has unfortunately picked up an injury.

Why would we pay £15mill for a player we already own?

I don't know why he's still our player, why do we loan him out when we could sell him ? He's on his third loan club now, he doesn't seem to want to play for us, we obviously don't want him either, so why is he still on our books ?

I thought there must be something obvious that I'm missing, there must be a reason we still have him under contract, but it's not obvious to either of us then.

They are keeping him for when SD returns.....honestly though surely he would have been a better option than JRod in the PL.JRod has been past it for 3 seasons now whilst Wout still had plenty to offer as a target man.
