Yep some of the fans did a lot. I did my bit too, posters up in pubs in tarporley and Winsford pubs. Pulled an old popside mate to reappear.

Yep stood on there for year's till moving over to the Paddock!!

Ditto. And the old wooden terracing on the Gresty road end.

Yep think fair bit of Gresty Road end was built with railway sleepers from what can remember a lot of the ground was as well!!
