All have plus double figures goal difference. The best five teams in the division. The bottom teams have a minus double figures goal difference. The worst teams in the division. It usually follows this pattern. We’re clearly not a mid table team as it stands.
Early this morning when looking at the table I noticed had all results gone against us we could have just held 6th place with about seven teams below us within about a point of us.
Its hard to get where we are but easy to drop like a stone from here. Strange league as always. Mighty interesting tho'.
I still think we’re 6-7th best side in the league. Trouble is there isn’t much difference in quality from 6th to 15th, it’s how the team are coached, tactics and luck that make the difference.
I think we are doing well considering we have effectively played without a striker for a lot of the season, but we face a big month coming up we will lose a couple of players to the ANC and none of us know whether we will need to sell to survive, if we keep the current squad together and fit we have enough to finish in the top 6, but that is a big if.
It’s been a big if all season to be fair. The situation of the club is a huge shadow, most other teams would have been in the bottom 3 with the thought of debt and no investment. Great group of lads and a superb manager deserve good backing. Lai has been a joke for this great club. Should never have been on the terraces let alone an owner.
I would have taken where we are right now at the start of the season. We are thin on the ground but it’s better to be 5th going into all the problems we face than being 12th and having those same problems.
I have heard we may recall Karlan Grant from his loan at Cardiff. (Does anyone know if that written into the loan agreement?). That will please a few.
