Well I missed the game due to being hospitalised again and as Mrs Grist also has a season ticket that meant two empty seats

I’m sure there are another thousand real life reasons why folks didn’t turn up. Lack of entertainment being one of them I suppose

Middlesbrough put us to the cosh in the first half, but could not finish the job with a goal,
due to resolute defending from the Millers
The Millers came out in the second half with more belief, LR proably will have given the
team a pep-talk, to carry-on what they had done in the first half.
Jamie Lindsay was my man of the match, he never stopped, sorry to see him subbed, but
LR might have thought he had done enough, didn't want to burn him out, & to save him for
    Friday against Sunderland.
Rathbone gave his normal game of bark & bite with his niggling of the Boro players, good
defensive display from the Millers, working together.
I thought Hugill ought to have been subbed, not Nombre.
The penalty decision, Boro were very aggrieved on not getting the decision, but how many
bad decisions have we had this season, against us, we were ready for some good fortune.

We keep hearing commentators on how injuries to players at other clubs, have affected them,
but we were hit early doors in the season, & get no such comments.

Discount the fluke goal, and we had no shots on target and no corners. At home. Yes, a fine rear-guard effort (I would prioritise a new deal for Haks above all else in the New Year) but I would suggest the number of empty seats is a reflection of the entertainment on offer at the moment.
    Oi Ebeneezer
I think the main point is that we’ve improved in terms of being organised and resilient instead of getting outclassed every week.
Small steps at the moment but we’ve got no option to progress slowly from a very very low ebb.
Hopefully we can take more points off other teams for the remainder of the season and not be the whipping boys of the division.
We weren’t at Leicester and we weren’t yesterday either.

    Spotted this comment.

Is it coincidence or an omen , I get home, turn the Tv on and The Great Escape is on. Not sure but I think it was Tony Stewart and Leam Richardson just coming out of the tunnel

We actually play Boro again in just over 3 weeks.
    Strange fixture scheduling

They might have got Odoffin and Johanson by then
