Ivan Toney to Brentford for £5.6 Million unproven as a striker then but still went for a colossal amount of money.

Connor Washington to QPR way back in 2015/16 season for £3.30 Million.......the list is endless. Again I ask why are Posh so successful at getting mega money for their players and all those years ago? I feel we get very little for our players as we don't demand enough for them like other clubs do and who's in charge of all that? I think it's the 'we are only a small club' attitude that let's others take advantage of our weakness when selling players.

Paul Douglas will be the spoiler in all of this and it's about time he was put out to pasture. I say promote Steve Coakley to CEO, after all he's the one bringing all the sponsorship in so give him the chance to get a truly realistic price for Viktor. He knows how to generate money!

If Viktor was owned by say Sunderland, West Brom even Leeds themselves then he's a £10 million starting bid player and the rest can scrap over him. Douglas in charge, let's start the bidding at what ridiculous 'get out clause' Viktor had put into his contract with this clown in charge of negotiations, so the bidding starts at £2 Million......I can read it all now

Honest realistic price in today's market....£10 Million upwards. If he was 6' 5'' he'd be in the Prem now! What a fantastice player with a 100% loyalty attitude to his club. He will be very very sorely missed.

Surely the players you are mentioning were bought at the right price and invested in. A lot of those players were expensive to buy. Assombalonga was 1.1 million in 2013 and signed on a 4 year deal.

Marriott 775k for a non league player on a 4 1/2 year deal.

We seem to always hear about the good deals, there's also players like Tyrone Bennett. Posh paid over a million for him and then shipped him to non league after 18 games.

Biggest difference between barlaser and the list of brins is. They were all strikers and scoring 20 plus goals per season.
