According to a Pboro journo Kioso can not be recalled before January 2 due to the Bank Holiday so will be able to face Derby at Pride Park on New Year’s Day.

Interestingly, our next game after Blackburn is at Fulham, bear in mind Kioso is cup tied, having played against Doncaster in round 2. Meanwhile, Posh are at home to Leeds in round 3 on Sunday week.
Could it be that we will not call him back until after that game or will we want him back immediately on Jan 2nd, even though the first game he could actually play for us isn’t until 13th January at home to Stoke?

Get him back ASAP and don't risk him getting an injury in a game which holds no value for us.

Kioso had a steady game against ourselves last night , not as good as he was when we played Posh at Oakwell but we were massively better last night than we were in the fixture in September .

However in the last 20 minutes he completely ran out of gas and wasn't a threat at all , the game last night was really high tempo and end to end but it was really noticeable that Kioso faded badly .

The quality wasn't championship standard but the tempo was if you get my meaning .

I take the point this was the second game in a few days so you have to factor that in but none the less Peterborough had to work their socks off last night to get back in the game and then stay in it .

Driving home last night some reporter on radio Sheffield was saying he was baffled how you’d not won it.

Defensively we aren't great and there's nowt in this game for teams that can't defend .

Interesting that Kioso is captain at Posh even though he's on loan .

Maybe he was the only volunteer

Or more likely that it’s the position he plays, a good view of what’s happening around him. Better than making the keeper or striker captain because they can’t directly influence what’s going off.

Know what he's capable of don't need to know about while he's been out on loan. All I know is we're down to 2 fit Odoffin Morrison center backs at present.

According to the Peterborough Telegraph, Rotherham United have exercised their call-back
option on Kioso.
