Me being the saddo I am looked at the Peterborough game and saw Kioso being subbed in 76th minute hope it’s not Peterborough playing silly buggers and he’s coming back injured cynic in me says he’ll do a Lazarus last week of January and go back to Peterborough
Might just have been tactical but I guess we’ll see

    Send him back? Crazy idea.
Put Kioso on the RHS of defence and push Dexy up the pitch in a wide role on the Right. We need attacking wide men so it might be one of the solutions we need
He’s a great footballer with an abundance of clever skills.
Unfortunately it’s too early in his career to repel cship quality attacks so put him in a role where he could do very well

Dexter is an extremely talented young player who will go on to do very well. Playing in a struggling team in this league is catching him out on a regular basis and is having little option to rest him is doing him little favours, but he is going to be a very good player, well beyond us.

Yes, maybe a chance of that but on our viewings of him he's not a full back, he's not a wingback and he's not a winger.

Might play a good tune but he's searching for the right band to play in.

Kioso reportedly “blowing” is because he has been sat back in RB. Watch clips. Which means we will need someone on the right side going forward. Which we haven’t had for weeks. Don’t expect Fred to consistently be fit and doing the business.
Kioso cannot go up and down. So, it won’t be straightforward.
From looking at the ifollow game history, his 12 games for millers consists of virtually all cameo sub appearances. For either manager.
There was always someone else preferred.
There is a gulf to bridge.

There is indeed a gulf, arguably a Grand Canyon right from day 1

What confuses me though is that every fan knows we were in for a hard scrap and we would need player types that scrap and battle. I expect the management team of the day would know that also

So instead of getting scrappers like Vaulks, Tavernier ( as examples) we recruit lightweights like limp biscuit, Cafu and Appiah

It doesn’t make any sense having these “ touch” players, we need fighters

MT said he wanted us to stop us being a battling side and become a team that belonged in the Championship on merit so he set about recruiting players that, in his mind, were capable of achieving that.
Personally I never took to him and it seems pretty clear that his recruitment policy and management style was disastrous for a club with our limited budget.
Early days yet but Leam seems to "get us" as a club, has the players better organised and giving everything they are capable of.
Unfortunately it's probably too little and far too late but I have faith in him to rebuild the team.

    Very true mellow

Getting us as a club is a key part of it. Traditionally the fans have always had a battling favourite, not necessarily the most skilful but a type of player that looks like he wants to give his all for the cause. Now we have far too many that are looking for a last payday or just basically can’t be arsed.

It’s not the RUFC ethos to be that way

Dexter is just 19 years old and is learning his craft still, this is why he was sent on loan.
Unfortunately the championship is a step too far for him at the moment, and we need someone who's a better defender.
Not sure what age Revan is,but he looks a better all-round player for us,some you win, some you don't.
