Don’t know, don’t care tbh. He changed it, that’s what counts - just as long as he sticks with it…

Mainly because you need superstar athletic wingbacks..? Like Andy Robertson . And how many are there ?

We've tried converting wingers, but they seem to lack the defensive skills.

We've tried pushing fullbacks forward. And they are never the best crossers on the attack .

Also when the backs are pushing forward you need a good mobile set of Centrehalfs to cover the spaces. And know who will cover what.

Looked like we struck lucky last season with Scales, Pollock & McDonald. That wasn't long thought out. They were thrown together.

So the back four is far steadier. Easier for them to know their positions to defend. Plus it gives us an extra midfielder or Forward.

Last night the abilities of Barron were obvious. Prior to this Shiñie was being pulled all over. And it showed.

A better defensive midfield allows the forwards room further up the park to press defensively and to attack. No surprise Clarkson got to show his cheeky stuff. McGrath too. ( Boy does the ball stick to his feet !!). Note Miovski didn't have to run way back to get the ball either ?

Nice to also see Ryan Duncan get to come on and play his best position , forward wide attacking. Sokler always looks useful these days.

This , with hindsight ( yes, many were saying it ages ago). is the best starting formation. With decent attacking options to come on from the bench.

Fine tuning still needed. Polvaro was put out as the wide-ish right sided attacker. New to him. He may well adapt. ?

We , err BR & Cormack should treat resigning Barron like they would view signing thon boy Technic. A top priority . Value him as a million pound signing , promise him future Captain's role and pay him a good wedge. The position he plays is important, nay crucial to this team. Get it done AFC. FMB. !!!
I fear the ship has sailed when it comes to Barron resigning, but I agree with you we should push the boat out to keep him

Cormack correcting a lie in one tweet can hardly be "making an arse of himself."

Is Barry the manager or the fans (at least those on social media) representative?

He has to do what he thinks is right as it is he who will live or die with these decisions, not the fans. That's not stubbornness because it isn't and can't be a collective decision.

When a manager repeats the same mistakes week after week, they deserve all the stick coming to them.

If he’s been told to change the formation by Cormack then you should care as he is letting the chairman dictate the team’s tactics like Glass and Goodwin did.

We really need an experienced manager who will tell that lunatic to keep his nose out of the team’s tactics or we are going nowhere fast.

Ok then - I don’t believe that’s the case for a second. A few zoomers on social media, who are suddenly the all seeing oracle apparently, are suddenly “in the know” - böllocks.

Robson’s inexperienced, but not completely stupid. Even he can see his preferred setup was a shïtshow.

Just took him far too long…

Fair enough if you don’t believe that. I suppose it’s just a coincidence that the 3 managers Cormack has appointed have all been young inexperienced managers.

Let’s see who he brings in next when he bins Robson.

I know I said I was done with you but I just have to raise a glass (pardon the pun) to the most ludicrous load of shïte that's ever been posted on here

Cormack dictated to Glass & Goodwin the teams tactics?? You really have surpassed yourself this time. There's being a fückwit and then there's a whole new level which you've just reached.

    Probably Shinnie as player-manager.
