I don't get why we wouldn't just announce it anyway. If he wants to leave, then he can leave, he's lost his opportunity to dictate things at Notts

Doing things the right way is important in these situations. I expect it is all carefully choreographed. I suspect Notts will announce first, once Swansea are ready so they can announce shortly afterwards or at the same time.

I think we, as the third member of that trio of " stakeholders" , might also command just a little respect, if only to be put out of our collective misery.

Until the contracts are signed sealed and delivered, there is nothing Notts can say. I think it's frustrating, but not disrespectful. What if they announced something and everything falls through? All we can do is wait for the process to work it's way through, I am sure we will be told when there is something to say.

I think the players have every right to know before the fans. I can’t understand what anyone’s problem would be with that? It’s not as if the club are losing valuable time in finding a replacement as they already know!

There is plenty Notts could say. Like we have given Luke permission to talk to Swansea, would be better than sfa. They know what is doing the rounds. A bit of clarity doesn't go a miss

It's disrespectful of Swansea to be leaking to the press. At that point, Notts should be ignoring all niceties now in this regard. Take the way FGR and we handled Burchnall, although a little distasteful of FGR saying they're after a manger who's season is still on going, they never mentioned him by name and by all accounts it was all done professionally, this is very different

So.. it all falls through and they have just undermined LWs position, by effectively announcing it. Saying nothing until the is are dotted and ts crossed is the way to go in my book. At least they give themselves options should it fall through.
