Luke Garrard for me. No sauce just a hunch.

I remember when Sheehan joined us for the second time but on loan and was asked what it was like to return, he said something like “I should never have went”. Not brilliant grammar perhaps but it showed his affection for Notts.

It's a shame that MK have already snapped up Williamson. Wouldn't surprise me if we went back in for Parkinson at Altrincham or Brennan at Barnet.

Sheehan only 37 and would fit the mould of 'emerging manager'. He knows a little bit about defending too.

The brothers do have a history of appointing someone that no one thought of though. Des Buckingham would have been a good one too, but he's gone to Oxford.

It won't be anyone from the national league, no one has gone ahead and pulled up any trees in the weakest national league for quite a while. I would think it would be a premier league coach, championship assistant wanting to try their hand at first team coaching or an international hire. Wouldn't surprise me if they did what they did with Burchnall, wrote this season off and let them bed in to start next year. I suspect though this time around, we will have quite a few interested parties

Think they'll be looking for someone similar to that Skubely fella who's at Lincoln.

Hard to say as someone like Parkinson is doing well with the budget he has that will be factored in then there is a few Irish coaches we have looked at in the past.

One thing we can be fairly certain of is it won’t be a merry go round manager appointed.
