I’d take 2m and 25% sell on for Macca. The club were shrewd in extending the deal for Macca which gives us scope to get good value for our prized asset.
Which also begs the question if Gateshead also have a sell on clause in Langstaff’s contract that will affect the final monies received?

I can't imagine they do. From what I remember, we triggered his release clause when we signed him, meaning no clauses can be added to the deal from their end.

Ipswich aren't doing too badly with a nobody. Think he & the Ramsey guy who was linked to Swansea all learned their trade down the road at Loughboro

Clearly not true. We could sell our entire squad and have less money than Wrexham I'd imagine.

Different players. Output-wise they're pretty similar - both score and make plenty of goals. Lee has already played at a higher level than Ruben and really should still be in the Championship or upper L1. Both cracking players to be fair.

I would imagine that we can compete with anyone in our division, barring Wrexham.
The question is though, are we attracted to the same signing(s) as they are?, from memory of our time since the Reed'z took over our signings have been completely out of the blue and not mentioned until a couple of hours before they sign, would imagine that is the way it will be for the future.
