JOB may be a popular, vocal midfielder at the club. But do the posters promoting his candidacy know if he has any coaching, game management and man-management experience? A whole different ballgame.

He poisoned the atmosphere at Oxford, they'd have been relegated if he hadn't been sacked last season
Have a look at their fan's forum to get a flavour of what he'd been up to there, it's horrific
He'd be the worst possible choice to follow a decent, hard working man like Luke
Our team seem very detailed. I can't imagine that they wouldn't sound Jones out about him.

Not sure, but I had an idea that he is doing coaching badges and does something at Sheff Utd? Obvious choice though while we have no head coach in place.

The average salary of a Championship Manager of £1m a year might help him make up his mind!

I don't see why not. He'd get over it. He'd hopefully keep making progress on our way of play and improve our away form. I can't see him losing the dressing room, and us fans will have sufficiently short memories to get behind him as long as there are enough wins on the board.

If it were just a random job rather than this job, I wouldn't be saying the same, mind you. But big difference between considering going somewhere for its emotional connection and mercenary job hopping. Just ask Didzy.

I love Luke and would support him forever, but it's hard to plan for the future with a coach that's in advanced talks with another club. Not easy to just go back to normal after you've left one of your players to take training.

Exactly and whilst most on here are supportive of him there's going to be an element who aren't which would make the next game very interesting.

They are getting nervous in Wales

Good, screw them down for maximum $$$$

I would be surprised if any of the names mentioned as a possible replacement for LW would be on the Bros list. They tend to go for an unknown who is happy to buy into their football philosophy. Did anyone of us know who Luke Williams was before he came here? Was he on 'our' list of potential managers?

No, and neither was Burchnall. You can bet a lot of money it will be somebody we've never heard of
