Maybe he didn't want young loan players?

Fantastic rapport with supporters, honest, decent, passionate, gave everything. Oh and the masterstroke of bringing Mair on at Wembley.

Thank you Luke Williams, you deserve this opportunity. And you're leaving it club in a much better state than when you arrived.
Too right.. Although Durham has his doubts.

They've already got a leaky defence, he's apparently come out and said he wants Swansea's defence to be meaner, well he failed miserably at doing that at Notts 🤣

Think that ends our promotion hopes for this season.
    Happy New Year everyone.

Seriously though, no need to mope. We have the right owners to progress regardless of who decides to leave along the way. Given that we're in no danger of getting relegated, this season is a free hit as far as I'm concerned. Let's continue to build.
We are in a far better place than when LW came to the club and this should always be the target and aim when any manager leaves. So for the next manager it will be their job to continue to build on this. The brothers started from scratch with Neal Ardley who provided the stability and stopped the slide. Then they moved onto Burchnall who then implemented the philosophy of how we wanted to play, then onto LW who then took this to the next level and finished the job and got us back to where we belong and established us in League Two.

We are in a good place, we are in with a shout of making the play-offs, there is a feel good factor around the club, attendances are on the up. Regardless of what happens this season the new manager has eight months until the start of next season and two transfer windows in which the squad can be shaped accordingly. If Mansfield, Stockport and Wrexham are the three that get automatic then I don't see those coming down from League One being as strong as those three. So maybe for us next season we can be like Stockport this season.

Also the clubs reputation is enhanced by the last two managers moving up two levels and players like Rodrigues and Wootton moving up to higher levels.

We should have some good candidates to choose from and the remit for them will be the same as it was for LW in the National League can they have us challenging for promotion to league one which is our next stepping stone.

I hope JOB and the other players don't share your view.

Watching his first interview on YouTube it would appear everything was signed, sealed and delivered last night. His watch showing 19:21.....it was great while it lasted now the build begins again.
