Blue Ticked on Twitter Notts County independent supporters association are claiming Langstaff has gone for £5 million including add ons and it will be announced tomorrow or Monday. This was posted 2 hours ago, and whoever owns the account is very very confident he’s in the know with this.

If that's the case then the brothers are clearly writing this season off and we'll be bringing in very few during this high priced window. I doubt very much that's the case although a rebuild will be needed in the summer regardless.

They wont do that we are on upward curve if you start writing seasons off you quickly sink down the table.

Also its not a good look for summer signings either if we fall away and "give up".

We do need new players for sure and like most lower league clubs expect 6-8 platers turned over.

I doubt it’s true and the £5m fee is fantasy, but if someone does offer us a realistic but massive amount of money for him (a guaranteed £2m say), we’d be off our heads not to take it. That’s transformative money for a club our size.

Yep, there’s a cap of something like that. It’s clearly easy to get around if you want to, though, cos I don’t think anyone has ever been charged with breaking it.
