They have an input sure but they don't get the final say or carte blanche. The system wouldn't work that way

Yep agree but you initially said he had no say, I think if the recruitment team asked for feedback and LW said he just couldn’t see them working out I’m pretty sure we wouldn’t sign them though. I totally back the way we do it as we signed some great players just before LW came in and I hope we do it again now as you can’t hang around in these transfer windows.

They pretty much don't. There are quite clearly a few signing where LW wasn't involved, I suspect Morias was one, obvious ones are Langstaff and Scott

LW states he told the board he needed to strengthen the strike force and Morias arrived. LW says this about CS "Of course, we weren’t at the club when the process of analysing Cedwyn had begun so it was amazing to walk in and hear experienced staff telling us ‘we’ve been monitoring this player – let us show you some of his qualities.’ and the same can be said about ML, LW wasn't here.

I’ve heard this morning that Mansfield and Notts have both enquired about taking Lee Gregory on loan from Sheffield Wednesday.
Personally, I’m not taking it seriously it must be a load of **** because his age (35) and his wages must be far beyond our budget.

Signed for Mansfield on loan apparently being announced tomorrow, that’s increased there promotion chances even at 35 he will get goals in this division just not against us in 3 weeks hopefully.

Morias was ab odd one, when we brought him in I was confused as to where he fitted into our system let alone the squad. If he was fit I'd have expected him to go out on loan this month.
