First thing will be to teach Hugill that you only go down when you’re injured.
A good smack in the snout should suffice.
That’s my coaching plan what could go wrong. 😊
Pocket that sounds like a great idea! The thing with Hugill is ‘Peter and the Wolf’. Most Refs have dealt with Hugill over the years and know of his antics to do a Bambi every third tackle. When he does clouted as of last Saturday when he genuinely took one full in the face, the Ref wasn’t interested as he’d been down three times already.

If he stood more on his feet he’d get a tad more respect….. and probably get involved more with a view to scoring more.

I know you're probably thinking Howdy is being pedantic but actually he's right, Richardson's main purpose is to coach the players and some of the "managerial stuff" has been moved elsewhere.
Consequently we have 4 coaches at the club and surely that should be enough to cope.......whether they're good enough remains to be seen.

"Peter and the Wolf"? Prokofiev will be pleased that his symphony is being associated with feigning injury.

Far from it. A simple mistake by myself and you have to correct me like a pedantic school teacher. Just move on and bother someone else, there's a good chap.

    Nothing pedantic about it.
The club made a big thing about appointing a head coach who would have a different role to that of a traditional manager.
Consequently we have 4 coaches at the club.

At least when we park the bus, we have 3 spare, in case of a breakdown.

Perhaps you ought to take another look at the title of the thread you started.
Maybe then things would start to make sense?

I think the reason that we're a tad tighter at the back is because we have all the midfield in defence aswell. Hence when we do clear it, it goes to no one and comes straight back and our 9 man defence is stood on the 18yd line waiting.........................to do the same again, again and again.......
