I believe that Cresswell Snr has only publicly said one thing on Twitter basically saying Charlie. needs game time. He wasn’t critical of Farke.

The second point being Farke went public when he didn’t need to and caused the issue.

When he dealt with the Adams, Sinisterra and Gnonto issues at the start of the season he was keen to show strength etc but from what little has come out about Spence (who was starting to play well) it seems his sins were the same as Cresswell - he dared to knock on the managers door and say he thought he should be starting - precisely the attitude I would want from a player but behind closed doors.

Farke’s press conference comments wee poor and ill judged imho and most likely will see Cresswell and his advisors take the reasonable view that for as long as Farke is in charge he (Cresswell) has no future at ER - very sad for all as he not only looks talented (and he can use the ball) but seems to have leadership and warrior spirit qualities.

Then look at the other young players who are stalking and stagnating in terms of development and it just reinforces the concern.

Farke is the boss for sure but doesn’t mean he can’t look in the mirror and get better too. He seems too insecure and sensitive beneath the facade.
    What he said.

Have enjoyed both Hope and Totty putting their opinions across...even though differing. Done rationally and with respect for each others views, and not demanding that theirs must be right. Not the same with all contributors sadly....

Maybe you should all remember the Jesse marshe and big Sam era, only last season, still have nightmares, not saying farke doesn’t have faults, who doesn’t, he sees what goes on every day, we don’t, I remember bielsa bombing Pontus out because of issues, it was play by bielsa rules or else, very similar now it seems. At what point would you play cresswell, half time with the score even or an odd goal in it, put him in instead of whom…..who would be a manager, criticism everywhere.

Pray tell what was disrespectful about anything I have posted during this interchange? Challenging, questioning views etc, absolutely, why wouldn't i? Or are you upset at my use of the "Der Fuhrer" term?

Then again, I suppose I should be used to being painted as the black sheep, hey ho.

Pontus started taking to piss though - he turned up two weeks late for training and seemed to be determined to undermine Bielsa. He asked for extra time off due to playing internationals and Bielsa said no and was disagreeing with his coaching decisions.

Cresswell’s issue appears an unwillingness to cheerfully accept he is number 4 in the pecking order and getting zero game time.

It was also all the stuff that had gone before too and Bielsa was called el Loco for a reason. I guess 🤔🤣

In case it appears to the contrary I think overall Farke is a good manager especially at this level. Compared to Yee Ha he is incredible.

He took over at a very difficult time and stabilised everything. The style of play is pretty attractive and at times we dominate teams.

I just think he has handled the Cresswell situation badly (and hope it can be resolved without Cresswell leaving) and I am not convinced by how he uses subs or keeps the whole squad interested not least the younger players. It has been said he has his favourites and that is not always a good way to run a squad.

True but it gets problematic if it appears that it is not based on talent - shudders at the memory of Warnock and his favoured few.
