Jordan Henderson terminates Al-Ettifaq contract in Saudi Arabia

Jordan Henderson has reached a agreement to terminate his contract with A-Ettifaq,
less than 12 months into his 3 year contract.
Henderson's dissatisfaction grew to the point, that he forced an exit from Saudi Arabia.
With interest from Dutch club Ajax to sign the player, Henderson is back in the U/k,
with talks to continue with Ajax.
With talks of a 2.5 year deal, or 18 month deal & 12 month option.

Henderson can not return to work in the U/K until 2025, without repaying what were
tax free earnings in Saudi Arabia.

For him to give up such rewards you have to think that 'family happiness' is the reason for this. He must have known about the heat,culture and standard of football before he signed. It's interesting though that someone who ''didn't'' go to Saudi for the money is making sure his next move avoids paying some of that money back!
