When Trump was president he reached out to some of the countries you mentioned. It did no good with Rocket Man

He didn’t start a war which is a rare thing for an American president of recent years.

I’m not a Trump fan and certainly not a Biden fan and I wonder how with 400 million people in a county they are left with the current choice.

The choices here were Macron and Le Penn twice which isn’t really a good choice.

In Britain you chose Boris Johnson and haven’t elected the last 2.

Do you think that internal unrest and riots will start before any nuclear war starts? I think there’s more chance of that.
The electorate having an impossible choice seems to be the theme these days. I gave a lot of thought to making the (pointless) gesture of spoliing my paper in 2019 as I thought that both Johnson and Corbyn would be a disaster and I was proved at least part right (although I would have prefered not to have been given that I live in the UK).

I don't see a risk of widespread civil unrest in the UK. We will politely chuck a statue into a harbour, but that's about the extent of it.

What's wrong with that? When me and my lefty chums did the statue, I did the risk assessment as well as the 'Lift from the Knee' workshops and personally supervised buffing up the scrape marks left on the pavements. Although the beetroot vol au vents were disappointing.

I guess the far right can get a bit lairy sometimes, although they only really swing into violent action in that sweet spot between the 18th and 19th can of stella before they again fall back into pissing in letter boxes and walking into walls.
