Can't say there's any of that lot I'd particularly want playing for us either.

Six of those named players were signed under VK's watch. Why sign them if they are not going to feature?

Because we have to run a squad of at least 25 in the PL, which means many players at Burnley, and at every PL club, not featuring. You might as well ask why Pep signed Kalvin Phillips, why Ian Maatsen has never featured for Chelsea, why did Forest take Divock Origi on loan from Milan ?

As for Obafemi, he may be fit in that he's not on the injured list, but he's not match fit or he'd be getting minutes with us. I doubt he's even close to match fit, maybe he never will be, and any club taking him on loan would be taking a huge risk, such a risk that I just cannot imagine any club wanting to take him. I suspect we're lumbered with him.

We will do a deal on his wages because he needs game time. He will be gone somewhere soon, he's an Eire international FFS!

But how much game time will it take to have him back on the injured list ? If I was looking for a loan player this window I'm sure I could find better bets than Obafemi. One that could actually play a full game for instance, when did Obafemi last do that ? Has he ever done that ?

Calling mein freund! I'm sure he was a regular starter at Swansea?

On the few occasions I have actually seen the lad play he looks a decent footballer but IMHO I don't think he has the necessary credentials for the EPL.

Getting him fully match fit would certainly help.

Check out you tube BT on his performances for Southampton in the premiership previously.
