    Yes exactly that

Yesterday’s result was a very good one but in reality only half of the equation

For comfortable championship survival it’s win home games and draw away. A draw at home and a draw away will still get you in trouble and a relegation battle.

So yes it’s good that we’ve tightened up defensively but the creativity isn’t there to get regular home wins

Bramall got a knock so we had to drop peltier at 37 into a CB position, he cannot play every game (Peltier and LR have said this) at LR has also said a CB position is a priority this window, we do not know how ready the others are. odoffin is an attacking midfielder he scores goals we could do with his talents further up the pitch.

If you play with a back 4 it's one up front. 4-4-2 we give midfield up in the championship.

At home we have to play 4 at the back. Check out our best results over the last 18 month. MT was playing 433-(451 out of position). If we play 3 at the back with 2 wingback. We only have defensive wing backs which offerer little going forward.
Problem MT had was he was playing 433 away from home.

It’s a bit more than formation, more to do with the creative abilities of the individual players.

Plus some players like to play safe, never attempting the forward pass preferring the sideways safe option so not attracting criticism from the fans if the riskier pass or shot fails

Catch 22 tbf . we also need Odoffin in defence who is playing out of his skin btw . Peltier doesn’t ever have a bad game when he puts a millers shirt on . Great cover along the back line . Just think if we half a chance getting out this mess it’s further forward we need to improve the first 11 . Not saying we don’t need another body in defence btw .just wouldn’t break the back 3 up atm .

that is interesting as that is 1.4 a game over 23 games that would be 32 points (approx) 3 away wins and 9 draws would get you to 50 points, it is a shame we never looked like getting a point under him away from home.
