There's always some sort of excuse for us not signing players, just look back at the comments made in previous windows by whoever was the manager at the time.
Are we to take it that we are restricting our targets to Premier League youngsters because, if so, they won't have the experience and probably not the heart to battle hard in a relegation fight......and that assumes we actually get round to signing anyone in the first place.

We go with what weve got. Why chuck money at it? We won't be able to afford the players capable of keeping us up. LR needs to try to get some short of shape to how he wants us to play now till the end of the season so we can recruit the players needed to fill the gaps and hit the ground running next season in league 1. Staying up this season is out of the question because we need to basically hit play off form. It's not realistically gonna happen is it guys?
