This is the deadliest drug ever in the history of medicine.

Dr James Thorp alerted the Massachusetts Legislature to the astonishing estimate that over half a billion were injured by the covid vaccine worldwide.

Based on the highly regarded work of Denis Rancourt which estimated
17 million deaths he applied an injury to death ratio of 33.4. as evidenced by Pfizer’s own documents.

No wonder they wanted those documents sealed for 75 years!!

Is this the same James Thorpe, another source falling foul of fact checkers?

Citing Dr. James Thorp, a Florida gynecologist who has spread misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccines before, the Epoch Times proceeded to then falsely claim that the memo was “consistent” with other vaccine safety monitoring data in showing that the vaccines are hazardous during pregnancy.

That’s incorrect. The memo doesn’t implicate the COVID-19 vaccines, nor does the existing evidence suggest that vaccination is unsafe for pregnant people and their fetuses. On the contrary, vaccination can protect against COVID-19, which can be particularly dangerous for pregnant people and raise the risk of pregnancy complications, including stillbirth.

    It goes on: https://www.factcheck.org/2022/11/sc...of-stillbirth/

Bill Gates has gone from an American hero to a man many are suspicious of. Recent revelations suggest that Gates and his wife Melinda, are linked to the popular fact-checking website factcheck.org, which presents many problems.

An often-cited criticism of so-called “fact-checking” websites is who exactly checks their facts. Many also criticise the fact-checking websites for being left-leaning, is not fully left-wing, in terms of the political spectrum.

One of the most well-known fact-checking websites – factcheck.org – does seem to be linked to Bill Gates. Gates, whose power over the world continues to frighten many, does not own factcheck.org – but he is connected to the site, which raises many fears.

    Background

So-called “Fact-checking” websites are becoming common. While many have existed for several years, they have become a major part of journalistic integrity, supposedly offering a fair and unbiased viewpoint of claims made by various individuals.

Since Covid-19 started to affect the world, fact-checking websites have gained enormous traffic. There have been a range of claims made by politicians, podcasters, influencers and other everyday folk, which at times have bordered on outlandish.

To try and combat the ongoing issue of fake news, these fact-checking websites can be very useful, and help to provide clarity on the various claims made by people. After all, there is much scaremongering and wild claims made by many people.

Therefore, the idea of these fact-checking websites is very positive. But a criticism of the majority of fact-checking websites is that they are at the very least left-leaning, if not left-wing, in terms of their approach.

After all, who is fact-checking these fact-checking sites? There are many concerns that there are nefarious intentions behind these websites, including an advancement of left-wing causes and interests, whilst regarding anything right-wing related as false.

Factcheck.org is one of the oldest fact-checking websites, and was actually launched back in 2003. It is owned by the Annenberg Public Policy Center, which is a cause of discontent for many.

Other prominent fact-checking websites include Snopes, PolitiFact and USAFacts. Many prominent newspapers also have “fact-checking” sections, but this presents clear bias problems.
The Role of Bill Gates in factcheck.org

A few years ago Bill Gates was known for being the founder of Microsoft, a company that has changed the lives of everyone around the world. But now, he is largely viewed with suspicion, due to his supposed role in politics, healthcare and Covid-19.

As we mentioned above, factcheck.org is owned and operated by the Annenberg Public Policy Center. While for many years this wasn’t made clear on the website, nowadays, it clearly states near the logo that Annenberg is involved.

Bill Gates fits into the situation here. Gates, along with his wife Melinda, have donated heavily in recent years to the Annenberg Public Policy Center. In fact, in 2021 alone, almost $1million was donated by the Gates Foundation, which Annenberg proudly announced. This follows similar donations, including a $3million donation in 2010.

But it begs the question, why would they do this? A cynic might look at this with the view that such money might be donated in exchange for a certain political slant. It is somewhat hard to believe that factcheck.org would not be affected by this donation.

Factcheck.org positions itself as an advocacy group that creates research and reports on society. But if they have someone as powerful as Bill Gates funding them, it would surely compromise their ability to be unbiased.

This is in light of the fact that Bill Gates is known for espousing left-wing views. As a result, it could be argued that factcheck.org is always going to be slanted to the left-wing.

Indeed, most articles on their website concerns disproving claims made by prominent figures on the right. Suspiciously, there aren’t many articles on those on the left that have made false claims and statements.

    The concern over Bill Gates

Bill Gates has made no secret of his political position. At the last American election, Gates heavily donated to Democrat leader Joe Biden. Biden, who seems to be in a severe state of cognitive decline, is known for being arguably the most left-wing President in history.

Gates is known for his heavily pro-abortion views, having made large donations to Planned Parenthood, which is one of, if not the most, evil companies in the world. Then there are also concerns over the Foundation’s “women’s empowerment” stance, which has got to the point where their policies and initiatives are ***ist against men.

Gates has also been associated with Covid-19. In 2015, a mere 4 years before Covid-19 was released, Gates warned of a “highly-infectious virus”. Gates has also been vocal in his belief that the earth is overpopulated. Conspiracy theories inevitably arose once Gates’ 2015 comments were dredged up by different figures during the pandemic.

It is these various areas that mean it is very concerning to think that someone with such hardline left-wing views has a large sphere of influence over a supposed fact-checking website.

While allegations that Gates is using the vaccine as an excuse to microchip the population is surely wide of the mark, it is not hard to see why people are suspicious of Gates.

Gates does deserve praise for the charitable work he has done and facilitated. This includes funding education for disadvantaged children, improving health coverage, business funding and helping developing countries.
    The Takeaway

Bill Gates is a very powerful man. But as the saying goes – with great power comes great responsibility. Is it possible that Gates has a strong influence on a major fact-checking website? Surely yes.

While factcheck.org tries to stay “neutral”, in truth, it is easy to see why many are concerned over the website’s ability to be fair. The media is overwhelmingly left-wing, and factcheck.org appears to be relishing that narrative.

This is taken from bible bashing anti woke right wing extremists in the US. Why so willing to take their view without question, and even repost it, whilst immediately dismissing evidence from fact checked articles linked to what seems to be a well reasoned report that dismisses Thorpe's 'evidence' as deliberately misleading?

But you're right to encourage vigilance against any media source. So, how to best fact check fact checking based articles on fact checking sites?

    1. Seperate the two arguments presented by the fact checker
    2. Cross check the contrasting arguments yourself with other research from both sides of the argument
    3. Use your own (admittedly biased but all you've got) reasoning to judge whether the fact checking article's judgement is based on robust evidence.

In my experience, Factcheck and fullfact seem to be very robust and hardly ever seem to be caught pants down on their conclusions.

We can all find something on line to prove our point but!

The Bill and Melinda Foundation have donated to the Factchecker you highlighted.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has just made an estimate of $200 billion of profit from the vaccine manufacture.
This foundations was kicked out of India for killing kids with experimental vaccines!
Bill Gates is on record as saying that he wants depopulation! He's on record as telling us that the pandemic was coming years before it did and was hell bent on getting us all that vaccination could be used as a way of depopulation.

Bill Gates is the biggest donater to the WHO so has a vested interest in what they say and which way they go with pandemics. The new Global Pandemic Treaty that will take away soverienty from every country that signs it is put together by the WHO. WHO is unelected and will be in charge of shut downs, travel limits and vaccinations with the central Bank identity card being an integral link to it all. This vaccination passport trial happened during the pandemic!
The digital Wallet that is being introduced will bring more control upon everyone.

All of the information is written down in the Treaty which was not binding when the first draught was brought out but the new one has all the none binding parts with a line through it! This gets ratified by governments this year!

There are 4.2 billion people elegible to vote around the world this year alone! Nothing about this treaty is being mentioned!

Bill gates may or may not be a force for good. Or Bad. Likewise the WHO or CBDC. I'm not particularly interested in that here though.
What im interested in is the confident statement of facts about things that are just not true or offer a complete distortion of facts/context that are there to be seen when read with a critical eye. Such as your statements:

This foundations was kicked out of India for killing kids with experimental vaccines!

This is just not true! https://fullfact.org/online/gates-polio-vaccine/

Bill Gates is on record as saying that he wants depopulation! He's on record as telling us that the pandemic was coming years before it did and was hell bent on getting us all that vaccination could be used as a way of depopulation.

Numerous claims on this debunked: https://www.dw.com/en/fact-check-con...aty/a-65982226

Obvious dangers in this change but a more balanced discussion of the potential advantages as wellas trade offs here: https://www.fairobserver.com/busines...indispensable/

You've gone around a lot of fact finders there Ragingpup.

Did you put your curiousity in a box with your denial of any wrong doing by others?

The pandemic and the use of a vaccine was predicted back in 2009 and those that predicted it just joined up the dots of information given out as public record. Those people are still vilified, imprisoned or accused of all sorts of rubbish to discredit them. It turns out that some of the conspiricy theorists were actually truth tellers!

The thread about the Post Office showed a cover up.
The thread about the farmers shows blantent news blackout.

The missiles of mass distruction was a lie

Yet somehhow if it said it on a fact finder would you accept it?

I'm curious about a lot of things in the big old world and have been known to get quite involved with them as ever though, I tend to not just look at fact checkers but also the people who are making the arguments for and against issues, and check their backgrounds and vested interests just as you rightly do with Gates and the like. I then weigh up if there is significant validity in those claims and authority from the people making them, and then make a call whether it is wise to invest further time.

I've only clicked ona few links you've posted, but it seems in each one there is not only a falling foul of what for me (I respect that you don't agree) are quite respectable and varied fact checkers and counter evidence that seems more reliable than the arguments your people are presenting. Eventually, after a few of them, I tend to quite quickly disregard the further arguments. Most of them seem to fall foul of simple logic anyway - a pandemic predicted back in 2009? A pandemic has been predicted all the way through our existence on account that they happen regularly, and increased regularity as we grow in population. There will be another one. There will currently be good scientists who are working with good intention to collaborate and anticipate/reduce the impact of such pandemics on the population, on all levels. There will also be some bad scientists who will try and make capital out of this unavoidable situation. It's just simple common sense.

And yes powerful people and the media can collaborate to do horrific things - who knew?! That they will cover up to save their own asses when the mask slips? No ****?! But that doesn't lead me to believe things when a simple exporation of the information from all perspectives, which can include FC as a useful tool, tells me otherwise.
