If we can only get on 1 or 2 players in now just go for wingers/ wing backs. No point in getting a forrud if no bugger crosses to em or cant get the ball up the pitch. They wont be the finished article but then we cant afford that.

I'd agree with that, our existing forwards might actually score some goals if somebody ever put a ball in the box for them.

Can't really disagree but if we're only going to sign a couple I'd like one of them to be a creative midfielder who can spot a pass.
I think Nombe would do much better if someone could feed him from midfield rather than from out wide.
Actually I don't know why I'm bothering to type this because I'm beginning to doubt if we will sign anybody at all or, if we do, it's likely to be someone nobody else wants 😡

Yes but we didn’t though did,we made some signings for the following season and future…agree not all worked out…ajayi worked..purrington not so…Carlton Morris loan a few years too early…but we were trying to steel a march on the summer with some players…even loans to have a look at for future…
