We have to buy his shares back off him and mostly Lee--initial Consortium shares and those they got in Rights Issues.

His biggest legacy is still to come--the EFL Investigation into who controlled the club.

Conway only held 7% of Consortium Shares yet he was made the active Co-Chairman. This was because he represented the New York Investor Group, who owned 20% of the shares. I anticipate that the people in this Investor Group were never revealed by Conway to the EFL or had the necessary diligence done on them. They are--
--Zach Schreiber 9% of shares in BFC
--Joshua Samuelson 5%
--Lee Pollock 2.75%
--Matthew Edmonds 3.25%, husband of JAQ

Only Edmonds remains, represented by JAQ, the rest selling up. Look out for these names in the EFL findings.

Good point about the investigation SB I had overlooked that. I wonder when the results will be published?

If he or Lee have severely and deliberately breached EFL rules, might they fail the fit and proper person test and be forced to sell up. I wonder if there is a buyer out there willing to take up their shareholding? Where would it leave the client b if there isn’t?

Good luck to the lad but we are getting, if he signs, a Fleetwood player, not one from Championship Preston.

Not sure where you have got your stats from but Earl played 29 games for Preston in the championship in 21/22.

Of course, now he’s at Fleetwood but when we were last in the championship, so was Earl.

Parekh said at a recent meeting that the findings would be published March/ April 2024.

I would think Parekh is on standby to buy the Lee/ Conway/ Hung shares when they sell. They only amount to about 20% of shares now.
Parekh has about 50%, Cryne 20% and Edmonds/ JAQ 10%

No worries. Wikipedia can be a touch misleading, particularly that top headline section as it only includes league games and the formatting is sometimes weird too.

Given he’s regularly getting minutes right now and can cover left wing back or centre back, I think this could be a shrewd signing but I suppose, like always, well see what he’s like in a reds shirt. If he does indeed sign for us.

Very true SB but my comment about him at Preston was that he was highly thought of when he was there , I am fully aware that he is a Fleetwood player , I have not tried to big him up all I have said is that he has good references & to be fair our current wing back came on a similar footing , he also came from a side at the bottom of division one but I think Cadden has proved to be a decent signing , not every player should be judged because of where they are coming from , they should be judged on how well they do for us.

Things are starting to become clearer. I always thought that Parekh must have something up his sleeve. It seems his strategy has been to rely on the EFL investigation to remove Lee and Conway. So yes, I think you're right SB, the other 20 percent will be taken by Parekh.

Maybe Prekh has another investor in mind……?
I honestly cant see why they would want to pour more brass in, and own more when they wont do it now?
