Langstaff and McGoldrick would still be in the starting 11. This chap will (if signed) be a plan B coming off the bench. As demonstrated on Saturday we had no striker on the bench

By my reckoning, that's 4 through the door if this lad comes...one in each position. Goalie, Defender, Midfielder, Striker, plus we signed Sanderson from the youth team. That's 5 signings altogether.

All in all, that's not too bad from a L2 club with the 10th best budget.
Like Stall says, there's no point in bringing loads in January as it just rocks the boat, plus we have a few coming back from injury.

If this lad comes, I think it's fair to say that this window can be considered steady and decent.

We could do with 2 or 3 going the other way to help with the wage bill.
Obviously not Macca or Jodi though.

On it Eli Sam was nigh on unplayable at times so will take that, if it's not that Eli Sam, as long as he's available, got to be better than Morias as someone off the bench eh

Hopefully he's better in the air than big Eli. For all his height, I don't think I ever saw him win a header.

That was more my point when I said what I said. It was no slant at Eli as would have liked to see him have another season with us to see if we could have got a consistent player out of him.

Yeah, he showed some real glimpses of quality in that Birchnall season, but he never really got a proper run in the side. He would go from being unplayable to being completely trash.

25 in 105 So he's a prolific striker then, and we can't do better from the EFL if we're willing to pay 125 grand.
