The disappointment for me at the moment is that we’re playing the same way every match since Xmas or so with the same outcome.
If we went expansive for 100 minutes we certainly would get trounced, so vary it for the last 20 / 25 minutes or so.
When you’re 0-2 down there’s nothing to lose except protecting your goal difference

No worries - been there and done that...

I would add that Richardson largely the same players to work with as Taylor and expecting fundamental change is possibly asking for too much.

He could try & change the set up,4-4-2 at home for a start.

For me it's not so much the formation that's wrong as the calibre of people being used within it.
4-5-1 can be good if you have a strong midfield and a mobile striker. We have neither.
There is no creativity or drive from midfield so not many goals will come from that area and our so-called striker is useless.
He does however consistently win the award for having the dirtiest kit at the end of the game.

I agree so why sack MT then?
We may as well left him to end of the season.

I see what you are saying but most probably thought the same when TS sacked Redfern and brought in Warnock after the January window had already closed, I know I did. NW ended up getting 24pts from 16 games, even that return from here on in wouldn't be enough and 6pts from 7 games suggests LR neither has the ability or the players to do the same. I hope I'm wrong again.

You'd need to ask TS that question but there seemed to be something wrong behind the scenes and fan pressure probably played a part too.
Personally I wasn't too sorry to see him go but equally I'm not sure we're a lot better off.
    I guess time will tell.

I would imagine because Tony thought MT wasn't getting the best out of the players. Look at the performance we served up at Hillsborough. Aside from that, there was no sign of any improvement, in fact we were getting worse.

LR is dealing with that legacy. It's essentially MT's team that he's working with and it'll take some time to sort out.

At least the current coach has shown he knows the way out of L1 and as long as we can retain certain players we've got the nucleus of a good team next season.

    Why wait?

Better to get someone new and give him the chance to sort something ready for next season.
