I still think the VK/ALK combo is on the right side in terms of player quality and value though sinkov.

Three PL starts in 18 months, and they paid £17.5 million for him. As they say in the USA, do the math. Not our fault though, we didn't force them to sign him.

They've all had 12-18 months to show what they can do, over half of them can be written off already, the jury is still out possibly on Foster and Al Dakhil, but right now there is no serious money to be made on that list, break even is the best we can hope for. It does not bode well imo.

This MO is supposed to be funding a team capable of top 10 in the PL, Brighton has been the example mentioned, but Brighton have raked in at least £300 million in the last couple of seasons. As you say, those signings have cost us peanuts, and right at this moment that's all we'd get for selling them, we're a million miles away from making this work financially, all it's doing is putting us back in the Championship. It does not bode well imo.

It got us out of the Championship with ease mon ami. The EPL is a different kettle of fish altogether but we all knew that already.

I don't see how you can think the VK/ALK are on the right side BT after last summers disaster. Not all bad I agree but some terrible mistakes.
