Humans are tribal beings and we may not like to admit it but we will all, ultimately, look after our own. Horrible thought but civilisation may be temporary!
Well that cheered me up Ketts!😁

In all seriousness though, you have a point, especially given both the current domestic issues such as the cost of living crisis or increase in violent crime and the wider implications of what is happening elsewhere in the world. Doesn't help that in the face of so many problems on the home front, let alone the challenges posed by authoritarian or extremist regimes elsewhere, that our own political leaders seem so inept.

From a post on Action for Albion

Hearing that Bacuna was called a “****ing bellend” and also swore at fans himself too.

People within 2 rows of the incident suggesting nothing racist was said.

If the fan did say anything racist then he quite rightly should be banned for life and criminally charged. If of course no racist comment was made then the player should be banned for at least three games and made to communicate a public apology.

Plus Bacunas mouthpiece Mowbray should also be spoken to about spouting second hand accusations- Mowbray effectively labelled us as racist on Saturday when he ought to have kept his gob shut and looked at the incident behind the scenes dispassionately rather than loud haling it on radio right after the game

Interesting. If it’s found nothing was said this player needs to be outed and forced to give a public apology and banned for 3/5 games. To accuse somebody of racism especially with kids when innocent is disgusting! If somebody did say anything racist they should be banned for life and face the consequences.

If a member of the crowd can be banned for life then so should Bacuna if he’s accusing someone by lying.

I agree this is a serious allegation, someone’s reputation and potential criminal charges are at stake, if as I hope this is un founded Bacuna should face severe consequences

Who was the player that accused Jay Rodriguez (I think) of making a racist comment towards him? That was shown to be a false accusation, I don’t remember him facing any consequences for lying. I could be wrong, though.

It was Gaeton Bong (Brighton player) and that case was not proven so neither player faced punishment, if they can't prove anything was said this will probably be same outcome.
