We live and breath Rotherham United as fans but we don’t really have a choice in anything at the club.

The ambitious move to employ Taylor was the right thing at the wrong time. The club had been building something and we had a Warne as manager who got us, the program and everything else to do with the club. We could have kept him!

Matt Taylor kept us up and signed platers we never thought we could under Warne and it was a fresh new Dawn. Unfortunately it didn’t go well from the start and we never came anywhere near getting enough points to keep us in this division.

Richardson has an empty war chest because Tony Stewart will not break his commitment to keep us on an even keel.

Is Richardson the best person to guid us? I will say yes! He’s already done what we need next season with Wigan!

I don’t believe that Tony Stewart is capable to sell the club to anyone better!

It's a great post Frog. Be careful what you wish for etc...! We have become a victim of our own success.Is it 7 out of the last 10 seasons we have spent in the Champ? That is an incredible stat but ,at the moment,we all wish were Chessy fans 25 points clear at the top of the National League.We have reached our ceiling and when we go down I do think we will be competitive with LR.This idea that we will fall through the leagues is ridiculous.We might not get promoted but we will be there or there abouts,but if we do.........then what?

I enjoy the wins more in the championship but I like promotions and winning more games in the 3rd division.

I stood on the terraces at Millmoor for years in crowds of 3-4000 and found reasons to go back week in week out.

We have a group of new fans since our club move that haven’t experienced the real bad times. I don’t want them to

So we are comparing a manager that got what he wanted in 2 transfer windows, spending the biggest budget in the clubs history with a bloke that got nothing in fact net amount of players he was -2 down. Judge LR after a transfer window where the chairman backs him. Also only one person has named an alternative and that was Evan’s, do you really think SE would have tolerated asking for 5 players and having 5 players shipped out and only 3 in. I do agree LR isn’t helping himself with the cautious football at home but to base an argument that the man that spent more than any other Rotherham manager is better than him on TWO home game performances is insane. We will see next year which one does the best, but I am sure if it is LR it will be excused with something else.

If he wants to be here next season I don’t think he can afford to be anything other than cautious. Richardson has improved the team since he arrived. Taylor left the club with no options or anything to play with in the transfer window.

There would be much potential for the new owner.I think that is one reason nothing has been done with the G&C building,let the new owner do all that the way they want.To win promotion in TS's outgoing year would be a good sendoff.

We are talking about a decline, the like of which we have not seen for decades.

We will be playing Chesterfield very soon.

This is how depressing it's got I very much doubt a few on here including me will see the day again when we are back to the former glories at the NYS. We know seem incapable of bringing players in like before to get us approaching that.

Admittedly I wanted other managers that had been mentioned, but knew in my heart that they wouldnt come, to come in before LR and I personally would have kept MT on till end of season, but once LR was appointed I was right behind him and even now I am still right behind him, even though I dont agree with how he is setting us up.The plus side is that he's definitely made us harder to play against defensively, however, whilst I dont mind him setting us up with one up front, he should be using Nombe for his pace and not Hugill who whilst he can hold the ball up better, has no pace whatsoever and usually loses the ball against the big athletic defenders that are in the championship. All in all I will be very interested to see who LR recruits for our impending promotion push from league 1 next season.

In all my time watching the Millers, his interviews are the worst.

IBS,don't believe it...I'm in agreement with you !
I just can't take to the fella, something a bit shifty about him,and he seems to have had a sense of humour bypass.
Got a feeling he will be gone in the summer.
