He’s got criticism for his approach to games which up to last night was negative and never going to get us a result unless we got lucky eg Middlesbrough at home. Sacking MT was supposed to give us a fighting chance to stay up. LR tactics have taken us backwards in that the one thing we had under MT was a chance at home. Just because he’s new doesn’t make him exempt from criticism.
You make some valid points about the philosophy and how we approach things. I agree with a lot of it.
Many people are to blame for the state we are in now.
LR will be judged for the performances on the pitch and yes he’s inherited a difficult situation however has he set us up to try and win a game?
No he hasn’t and he’s responsible for that.
Last night was better and have a go that’s all we ask.
TS sacked MT without a clue who he wanted as next manager - he just hoped that someone who he approved of applied for the job. Mistake - a proper club would have sounded out available managers before sacking an out of his depth manager. TS then took a punt on third choice. He should have stuck with MT until he had the financial offer in place to attract a proper manager. Amateur club with autocrat as chairman = trouble

What makes you think he was 3rd choice? He should be so lucky. 5th choice, after Wilder, Jones, Rowett and Warburton all said no. That in itself speaks volumes.

The crux of the problem (according to everybody's stable lads on here and even the stable lads' stable lads) was that the first name on your list said Yes and then said No which initiated the ensuing sh!t show.

Jaden Philogene has now been awarded the first goal.
Humphries is probably pleased and it doesn’t really matter to us.

But, it does suggest the EFL are changing facts to suit the advertising and sale of the product.

Rabona goals are easier to sell to broadcasters than own goals.
