The law is seen as the start of a crackdown by people including a couple of mates of mine who are police officers.

So it's a law that can be used to stop online misinformation campaigns being used to manipulate elections?

I can see the value in that, but how it would work in practice isn't clear given the speed that misinformation can be spread online and the difficulty in stopping it.

A law like that might have come in handy in the UK prior to the Brexit referendum. I'm not sure what it has to do with vaccines though.

It depends. Le Penn for example couldn’t lend money to run her campaign so had to go outside of France for a loan.
We weren’t aware of it until well after the election.

Sarkozy was going to run again but was charged with fraud before he could.

The woman in charge of the IMF was going to stand but the scandal of fraud was brought up before she could declare.

Many people are denounced before they get chance to stand.

France I’d like the USA in regards to certain groups backing presidents.

It’s fascinating and like the USA they end up with 2 of the worst candidates with the better ones

I've never followed French politics, I'm afraid.

American politics is totally distorted by 'Super PAC' funding, which makes it easy to buy influence. American politics has only served the wealthy for the last decade or so.

In the UK, the Tories have quietly raised the limits on election spending because they know that they can outspend Labour.

An even bigger issue though is foreign interference. Putin got what he want with Brexit and probably Trump.

Anybody who thinks the pharmaceutical industry is not corrupt to the core is asleep at the wheel.
Just parking Covid/Vaccines to one side ...

I made a point about herbal remedies being blocked and pushed down the internet searches engines when the Covid vaccine was rolled out. I was laughed at.

In this thread there is a video on how Rockefeller changed the landscape and how modern medicines started out. How he paid for and sponsored universities and institutions to teach medicine using his drugs.

It’s a shame that during or before the pandemic the drug that won a Nobel award has been denounced even though in Africa and poor countries it’s saved countless lives and had been administered billions.
I can’t remember the name of the drug but I believe it was developed at the John Hopkins university.

Anyway we’re going to be saved by Pfizer because they’ve paid about $40b for a cancer drug company that only turns over $2b.

It’s not just the speed of information that’s the problem it’s who monitors the information.

We’ve already established that we have different views on things so who gets shut down?

Also on a religion based argument who gets to say which god is the greatest. When you see the American constitution you’d say they’d side with Christianity.

The federal bank in the USA is an independent institution. A hell of Americans don’t realise this. It was started in 1913 I believe and had wealthy opponents to it. All those opponents were said to be on the maiden voyage of The titanic. The owner of the company that constructed the Titanic was Rockefeller who went on to be a share holder in the Federal Reserve. Another coincidence? Is it true or a lie?

The more people look into things the more people find out. If the internet is censored to a large degree how can questions be asked?
We’ve seen how politics are being played today, the supposed infiltration by the WEF ( there words) into cabinets around the world. The EU, the UN, the WHO whose funding is 85% from outside sources including Rochafeller and Bill Gates and is headed up by a guy that ran a terrorist group.

If people aren’t allowed to ask questions about this then we are really moving towards a totalitarian dictatorship run by unelected elites.

That’s the one. According to some it had to be binned to allow the vaccine to pass without the proper testing.
