Perfectly summed up, a really poor appointment and no confidence he will pull it round. I think he has already lost the players, fans to follow after this disaster of a match.
So sad from having a brilliant coach and upward trajectory to feeling like failures and relegation fodder. I read Brian Clough saying how he couldnt figure how they kept scoring 3 and 4 but losing at Sunderland. Is our defending that bad or something else at play, looks wilful sometimes.

Sad times having felt so high.

The owners are not stupid, but I think they are a little naive (if very well meaning). I think he will go this week. The players aren't playing for him and to be honest most of them should go in the close season if finances permit (which they won't). The only players who played with their heads unbowed tonight were Macca and, surprisingly, Nemane

Brace-Girdle asking Maynard about Slocombe on the bench. I'm sure we were all dying to hear the answer to that.

It does matter who the manager/coach is as LW has got it you can see it and hear it when he speaks.

As I said look at Klopp in that cup final giving his young players confidence and the way he whips the fans up at the right time LEADER.

Even if you have dross which all managers will have you have to get on with it and inspire.

We have now moved to rock bottom of the average goals against table, 1.94 (worse than Sutton on 1.91).

23rd in the current form table (last 6)

Jackson noting that Maynard always finds the positives in interviews but didn't do that tonight. "First time he's sounded quite so down".

He didn’t apologise. In fact he told the Kop to ‘**** off’.

It’s great booting the ball in frustration. He, like the rest of the back line got bullied by that **** stain Smith.

We were ****e. End of. Beaten by a side that showed more fight in one game than we have all season.

This is starting to turn as toxic as when we went down. The feel good factor of last season has completely gone. We are in for a relegation battle next season if the recruitment is poor in the summer.

Doesn't matter what it costs we have to get rid of the whole defence and use the Money for Langstaff and Jones we get to bolster the defence and bring in couple of good midfielders.

While we keep playing this form of suicidal football, we are going nowhere.

Wrexham, with much better players than us, had 75% possession against FGR and had to rely on a 93 minute penalty from Paul Mullin.

It doesn't matter who is picked in defence or goalkeeper, things will/could only get worse. They lasted last season on playing teams that weren't as good, a bit of luck and a we'll score more goals than you philosophy. Added to that the confidence level was much higher than it is now, sets us up for a long end to this season and a concern for next.
Sorry, do not agree. That free header at the back post from the corner was not because defenders are told to play the ball out. Rawlinson being unable to kick the ball isn’t because of the way we play. They are just utter crap.

They are crap. They were crap last season as well no matter what the table says.

If Maynard puts a possitve spin on this he needs to be sacked immediately.... the shocking thing is we don't have anybody else to replace the shambles of a backline that we have, I would almost call up the reserves at this point... just simply apauling to watch Baldwin and Co constantly balls things up...this is the team rock bottom of the league and they should of beaten us by a wider margin which is a complete indictment of our season since Christmas... we are in some serious trouble now... we are lucky that we have enough points to stay up but can see us finishing bottom 6 at best, Bradford will absolutely batter us on Saturday...sad times indeed
