He had 3 years at Stoke after that saved them from relegation from the championship and then nothing spectacular, just lower half of the table mediocrity. No idea if they should have been doing better or if just keeping them there was an achievement. Did well at Shamrock Rovers prior to the national team job. All Wikipedia mind. Who knows?
