That won’t be the case, Ardley was sacked when we were on the playoffs or extremely close. They will find out exactly what’s going off behind the scenes first. No one can argue with results since he came in, they’ve been awful but if they think there’s enough mitigating factors to give him a further chance then they probably will.

Nobody knows for certain, but it's reasonable I think to surmise that Ardley only lasted as long as he did because of the terms of his contract.
Financial considerations may be a factor in whether or not the owners decide to stick with Maynard into next season, for all we know.

We got compensation from Swansea for them to buy out Lukes contract which had just been extended. To buy out Stu's contract from Wealdstone would have been small fry compared so there should be plenty left to pay off his contract if they so wish.

I really dont know why the club have not already hired a mini bus for him and his management team.. Mondays draw should not distract from the fact that he cost us 2 goals with his pointless substitution's, which then weakens the team, and possibly cost us 3 points. He makes the same mistakes every game which has cost us.. This should be enough to show that he just doesn't know what he is doing..

They wont get rid of him unfortunately - because to do that they would have to admit they got it wrong- whole organisations have gone under becuase of the stubbeness or ego of owners
They will give him next season in the hope he turns it around - so they are proved right - for me i see a relegation battle mid table at best - it is what it is

How do you come to this conclusion?

Just do not think they will - i mean SM is thw worst manager ever - yet they still stick with him - WHY?
They stuck with Ardley for 2 years and what did that achieve- then Burchanll. The fact is the owners apart from LW have made poor choices for head coach -
that being said we have a lot to thank them for, coming in and saving the club , and getting us out the NL
But in this case the best scenerio is they stick with SM next season and we under achieve- eventually sacking him after wasting one or two years, or the worst is we are dragged into a relegation battle, putting everything they achieved under threat ,and if we went down all the good work will be undone- and then i could see the owners pulling out.
One thing that has become evident in the last 20 years is that running a club in the EFL league 1 or 2 is no easy task, as we saw with the trust, Trew , Hardy and now the current owners. It is hard work for a club to break even , in fact up to 75% of clubs are running at a loss, only propped up by owners cash, the qustion you have to ask is what do the owners actually get out of running an EFL club, therte is no prsestige like in the premier ?

It depends what is in his contract its possible it could say we want to compete for play offs and as by points available we can still do that (We obviously wont)

Same thing happened to Moyes at Man Utd as soon as it was not possible for champions league football he was sacked.

Football contracts are way more complex then the average Joe.

That raise an interesting point- you could argue that Moyes is a decent premier league manager - but again following in the footsteps of Fergussen he was always on a hiding to nothing - unless he won the champions league
Its a similar situation at Notts any body that followed Lw was on a hiding to nothing unless they at least achieved a play off position

So the moral of the story is - its much easier for a manager or head coach to follow a poor manager than a very good manager if they are the next in line
