    Meet after the game

    From Action For Albion via Twitter
    We’ve had many requests for a get together to celebrate our new ownership.

    So we have arranged to meet up at
    @WBDCC
    Boundary Bar after the game on Saturday from the final whistle

    I intend to be there, anyone else?

    Wouldn’t the celebration be better once we see players like Kipre and Mowatt given new contracts together with Patel giving Corberon the funds to build his own team next season. When this happens I will wear Stars and Stripes boxers!

    Just cautious as it was all nicey nicey when Lai came in and brought all the supporters a scarf and pint then the rest is history.

    My first impression of Patel is a good one but let’s see him get his money out on new players. Anyone can show enthusiasm and talk a good game but the proof of the pudding will be the investment within the squad like Hull etc and others!

    I think it all depends if we make the play offs, would be more like a wake if we don't. I hope this A4A outfit are not taking any of the credit for the takeover, unless they think that waving some cigarette lighters about is what did it!!

    You can be very sure Dave, A4A are doing plenty of personal back slapping.

    Have a look on Facebook, you’ll see what I mean.

    Tend to agree although they did do some good work in highlighting our plight. Either way would be a good place to meet if anyone is hanging around after the game?

    To be fair they did a good job highlighting it as you say. Met to many people in business who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. Patel will only impress me when he invests in the playing squad. Not expecting a huge spend but a wise spend with some of our injury prone big salaried players gone. Apart from Johnston - I have not been impressed with any of the loans where other clubs have done better - probably on less cash too! Recruitment needs to be number 1 priority in my opinion!

    This summer we need to be much better at the loan market for starters.

    So many other clubs seems to borrow a Harvey Barnes type or two every summer.

    We also need to raid Leagues One and Two for promising younger talent.

    Youth, speed and athleticism need to be the DNA of future signings.

    I won’t be going to the get together, nor the match, I don’t have a ticket!
