    I have never previously been aware that you can "fall upwards". Like you say mon ami, it's unfathomable is football.

    I think people forget VK only started managing in 19/20 playing at that point aswell - so whilst I know like everyone else he got it wrong last season he’s still learning his trade as a manager.

    As for poo pooing the 40 man squad we don’t know if they are or aren’t any good - plus we’ve dropped a considerable level - the Premiership was a step too far but it doesn’t mean the championship will be.

    Knowing that cooper says no I think Moyes would be best for us at the minute - he knows how to set up teams and he won’t accept shirkers / non tryers.

    But I feel our owners want a big name - with that comes big money and big transfers generally so they better get it right and this time around.

    There are what we recognise to be weaker players in the squad but I have a feeling a few gems might just surface this year.
