Must admit I find it strange that there's been nothing on the official site about his departure.

We usually say "thank you for your services and best wishes for the future".

Tom clearly expresses his emotions of leaving a club that he appears to have relished working for on his announcement on X and there are lots of supportive responses from folk including some who must have known him personally. No-one has posted anything negative and yet, as you say, not even the merest "Tom leaves with our best wishes" from the club.

Curious and just a bit disconcerting.
