    Greasy Jack

Whilst I could not stand Greasy at the Vile - for me the clown Southgate has made a big mistake excluding him from the squad, He made two of the goals against Bosnia and Greasy Jack does bring something different other players don’t have!

Mistake in my view but Southgate is a poor manager and negative!

Jack is probably still pi**ed from celebrating City winning the league, but i agree i don't understand why you need both Bowen and Toney in the squad Grealish offers you something different and is always likely to win you a free kick around the box, also taking risks on so many injured players is a big mistake IMO.

Agreed. No big fan of Greasy Jack (although my opinion is admittedly largely based on past behaviour) but, despite his lack of recent game time, the introduction of himself and Kane changed the match against Bosnia. I know it was against only one game, and a friendly at that, but am far more surprised at Southgate dropping him from the 26 than I am, say, of Maddison. Not always effective but think England may rue his omission.

First words to my son were that this was an error.

That said, Cole Palmer is potentially world class already, Eze is a real talent and you’ve got Bellingham and Saka and Foden nailed on to start as the attacking three behind Kane and then there’s Gordon who has terrific pace.

Grealish is a good player but has the annoying habit of slowing play down at the wrong times sometimes.

I’m glad Maguire has gone though albeit Henderson clings on somehow.

Been talk of who do we have to replace Maguire? Good question. I can see that Greasy jack gives you something different but 26 players means some will be disappointed. I think Maddison has been awful in recent matches tbf. I think Managers always operate with more knowledge than we have (obviously).

Maddison is an annoying little tw at.

Lightweight and a little snidey snot bubble.

Billy big b o l l o x at Leicester but not a big 6 type of standout player for me.

Southgate has picked on form (Shaw the exception but a warranted one) I look at the talent we have in the forwards and who would you leave out for greaser? For me none of them.
